Hi everyone,One of my main missions is to normalize talking about the most important things in our lives. Because if we hope to live deeper, more meaningful lives, we must take the steps to do so. This has everything to do with health. We are all seeking connection — with ourselves, with one another, with the earth. That connection is the light that keeps us going. It impacts our health and mood. Studies have shown that secure relationships increase our happiness and longevity by about 50%. So, what are we waiting for? What do people avoid talking about important topics? For this 200th episode of The MultiDimensional MD, I’m going to explore this question and also go over some ideas of what to do about it.

How has the end of summer been for you? Flying by? Slowing down? Recently, I've started thinking about Einstein's theory of relativity again and what that has to do about health. I first read about the theory of relativity in a high school physics class. It made such a big impact on me, because I started to see the universe in a much bigger way. Here are some things I will forever reflect on.- One, not everything is as it seems. - Two, perspective matters.- Three, time is relative.- Four, energy and mass are interchangeable because everything is energy. (E=mc2)I love weaving in and out of these more esoteric topics and helping make them more practical and tangible for people.A couple weekends ago, I had another revelation about time that I'll share with you in the podcast.Come join me for this fun, brief episode on the theory of relativity.

MY NEW BOOK, I AM Intuitive - A MultiDimensional Guide to Embrace Your Inner Light, is NOW AVAILABLE! See allworldspress.com---Cross-lateral exercises are movements that cross the midline of the body. They help connect the right and left sides of the brain by sending signals across the corpus callosum, which is the major bridge between the hemispheres of the brain. There's abundance research that cross-lateral movements helps with calm, focus, coordination, cognition, learning, and creativity. I'll recommend cross-lateral exercises regularly, especially if someone is having difficulty in any of these areas. In this episode, I'll read an excerpt on cross-lateral exercises from my NEW BOOK, I AM Intuitive: A MultiDimensional Guide to Embrace Your Inner Light. There are many examples of simple cross-lateral exercises. I'll go over some common ones here, from small movements that can be done at work or class, to bigger ones to do at home. Taking two minutes twice a day to incorporate cross-lateral movements into your routine can make a huge difference.Lots of love,Dr. Arlene DijamcoThe MultiDimensional MD---Thanks for watching my YouTube channel and podcast The MultiDimensional MD! I love this phrase: "Do More with Less."Inventor Buckminster Fuller was a huge proponent of "Do More with Less."This is an overarching theme in holistic health to take a proactive approach to what resources we have. Our body's naturally tend towards balance. If you get a scratch, it tends to heal. By understanding the health within, we can enhance our natural healing abilities, and in essence, do more with less. That got me thinking of how much occurs while we sleep. Our brains need to detoxify regularly. They are working hard and require ongoing maintenance. A lot of that occurs during sleep. So, how can we enhance our natural detoxification processes that occur during sleep? In today's podcast, I'm going to go over- a brief review of the brain's glymphatic system- perspectives from TCM and Ayurveda- remedies to support sleep detox- topicals and appliances- a healing poem I wrote to read at bedtimeLots of love,Dr. Arlene DijamcoThe MultiDimensional MD0:00Introduction2:10Introduction to Glymphatics4:04REM vs non-REM sleep6:01A note from TCM7:58A note from Ayurveda9:43Remedies15:25Topical remedies and appliances21:31Lifestyle factors24:05Meditation and a Healing Sleep Poem
